Marketing & Promotion
  • Conduct market analysis and produce congress marketing & promotion plan.
  • Assist with congress positioning statements in relation to competitors, customers, sponsors etc.
  • Design and produce artwork (for electronic use) and co-ordinated printing, e.g. fliers, posters, brochures and assist with the production of videos, press releases and related promotional tools.
  • Produce and manage electronic marketing & promotion tools (web sites, mail blasts, electronic newsletters etc.)
  • Promote the congress at other meetings and events, e.g. a stand, a sales delegation, presentation.
  • Organize local promotional activities at the congress destination to attract local sponsors, delegates etc.
  • Liaise with local authorities and negotiate local support in terms of funding, visibility, promotion etc.
  • Manage PR and media relations prior to, during and after the congress.
  • Create and implement Congress branding and apply branding guidelines to all promotional tools.
  • Produce social media and online advertising campaigns.
  • Assist with the creation of post congress legacy.
  • Produce post-show reports analyzing the success of the marketing campaign against targets.
