Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau drives and supports the development and promotion of business events throughout the emirate efficiently, effectively, and transparently, and in partnership with all its stakeholders. Its main mission is to champion the emirate as a dynamic global business events leader. The Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau team provides co-ordination with local partners, and helps arrange introductions to key Abu Dhabi stakeholders, secures support from mainline industry and tourism leaders, and assists with government liaison, researching appropriate venues, offering PR and marketing support, and providing innovative activities and pre- and post- conference ideas.
Dubai Business Events (DBE) sets out to build awareness of Dubai as a host for world-class business and leisure events. It complements the festivals division by attracting high-profile events from around the world and also seeks to promote Dubai as a premiere cruise destination. Business events focuses on facilitating active government monetary and policy support to increase the recognition of Dubai among the international business community as a destination of choice for networking events. Leisure events amplifies the work already done by the festivals team, drawing some the world’s best event experiences to Dubai’s shores. The cruise and in-city experience management team works to increase the length of visitor stays and boost the spend per visitor from leisure and business travelers.
The Ministry of Tourism established the Oman Convention Bureau to manage the services and products related to the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) in the tourism sector in the country. The bureau will be responsible for enhancing the plans and programs for MICE, and for promoting the various activities undertaken. A promising tourism segment in the Sultanate, The Oman Tourism Strategy 2040 focuses on MICE as one of the major pillars of the tourism industry in the Sultanate and will depend on it as a secure sustainable resource. The objective of the Bureau is to support the international and local organizations in hosting their events and cater to their requirements. The main aim is to promote Oman as an ideal destination for MICE tourism sector.
